What the latest on Ter Stegen? Marca said that Barcelona have offered 10m but Gladbach want 12? Zubizarreta said yesterday nothing is done.

Also, AS are saying that Barcelona are going for Gundogan. Laughing

I think that this move comes too early. He is very talented, but still very young for a goal keeper and not ready for a big club like Barcelona yet. On the other hand, he has already experienced a bad spell with Gladbach (and especially the senior NT) and has come back stronger and more mature. Still, Barcelona is a big challenge for this kid, knowing that he isn't even the guaranteed #1 for the German U21 yet, battling with another highly rated talent Bernd Leno (Leverkusen) for that spot.

Plus, Barca don't sign Germans, which makes me a bit sceptical. Will only believe it if the deal is officially confirmed.

Yes, because Barcelona have no history whatsoever of signing German goalkeepers Rolling Eyes

Ok so Enke was there for maybe 5 games. Who else? The only other German I can think of is Bernardo Schuster.

Sure, although at least Germans have played there at a senior level, unlike the c**ts from Manchester. Just thought it was a strange thing to say when they look like signing another one already. And God knows it would be a major risk for his career as well as an opportunity...

Schuster was the sole exception, albeit a great one. One of the very few players who is in the hall of fame of both Barcelona and Real Madrid. Can't really count Enke, he hardly played a match there. 1 1/2 players in 100 years - it's indeed appropriate to say that Barca don't sign Germans. I blame the Dutch influence there...

Man United is the other big European club where no Germans are signed. And it's true, there has never been a German player in their first team.

Not surprised in the slightest about this degree of ignorance. One prime example was already mentioned, then there is the first WPOTY ever, a Californian sunnyboy, a two times Ballon d'Or winner running FC Bayern today, a Milan legend, a Man City legend, a former Maoist, a former Ferrari fan whose haircut hasn't changed in 40 years, the list goes on and on. Was watching, never thought it would be that serious. Nontheless this is injury nr1xxxx. That's what he lacks compared to Zlatan and Ronaldo their fitness.

Let's face it, if he wasnt gifted with the talent he has, he would sell balloons in a park in Buenos Aires. Ronaldo would be either a model or a balletdancer and Zlatan would have been a bounty hunter or free fighter.

rosell doesn't have the type of power, on the power list at barca he is probably at 5/6

    Messi
    Puyol
    Xavi
    Iniesta

all have more influence than him, if messi wants he shakes, he gets his shakes

nah he just wants the physio would help him back from injury to win spain the world cup to be brought back before he signs.

Rosell when on his clean laporta house campaign, release a few medical staff that were laporta appointees, especially after pep left, and the players aren't happy with the level of fitness in the squad since.

rosell really robs the players the wrong way, its iniesta,vv,pep and i'm sure Xavi, pouol and messi don't like him either

Don't listen to messiah, Coops! He's in denial poor guy. The truth is Rosell and Iniesta's agent have been in negotiations for months and they are nowhere near getting a new deal signed. Current contract runs out in 2015. Rosell will probably sell him next season to avoid another 'caso Valdes'.

No wonder Iniesta wants to leave with Tata subbing him when you lot need to make a comeback.

And they keep having to drain fluid from Puyol's knee, I'm telling you the guy just needs to retire already.
