Based on their comments on the last days of the Mourinho era I'm guesing the split between came from the division in the dressingroom.

Came out one of the RM sites called Soy Madridista. They don't cite any other sources though.

Along the same lines as yesterday's rumour about Ancelotti being sacked. Florentino has now allegedly decided to resign if RM don't win the CL.

Ancelotti said that the only two doubts are Benzema and Pepe and that if the match were played today they couldn't make the XI but thankfully there are still a few more days to decide.

Will be interesting to see now what happens with the players in the squad. For a team that has done the Copa del Rey/Champions League double there are actually a lot of doubts.

Coentrao. The guy seemed for sure to go last summer and then when he couldn't find an exit was surely going in January, has come full circle and was an essential part of both Cup runs. Ancelotti wants him to stay. Probably a lot of teams will be interested in him but I hope he reconsiders leaving.

Di Maria. He started off with a knife between his teeth, wanting to fight for his place, unlike Ozil, then started bitching once Bale was finally fit but then he found a deeper role in Ancelotti's 4-3-3 and 4-4-2 and was also a pivotal player for the team. Juve are constantly being linked with him.

Khedira? So so useless. Was a relief when he was out injured but he seems to be a favourite of managers simply because he follows orders and runs a lot even though it is like playing 10 against 11 when he is in the pitch. Maybe Jose will want him in Chelsea.

Casemiro. If they are really concerned about his inexperience then he needs to go on loan for a year or sold with a buy back so that he can play and get the experience he needs to win the trust of the manager.

Arbeloa. A lot of rumours that Rafa wants him in Napoli and with Carvajal really emerging maybe he would decide to move on. I hope not, I think his experience is important and he can still be an important squad player.

Isco. He's had an up and down first season (great start, then faded, then came back into the team when the injuries were piling up in Feb/Mar, but then back to being a sub in the final stretch) although for me, on the whole, it's been positive. I would be surprised if he leaves this summer. Even though all the rumours are saying that Pellegrini wants him at Man City, I don't think he will necessarily have it easier there in terms of being an automatic 1st choice (he would have to fight with Silva and Nasri and Navas). He's maybe not had as many minutes as he would prefer but he has made a big impact.

Diego Lopez/Iker Casillas. The goalkeeping situation, shockingly, worked itself out this summer. Still hard to imagine both being 100% happy although they both are saying that for sure they will stay. I do wonder if a big offer came with a guarantee to be 1st choice if one or the other wouldn't leave. Arsenal, Man City, Milan are all supposedly interested in one or the other.

Illarra. Super hates him and that might be enough to scare him away. He had his moments although overall I would say he took a lot more adapting than I was expecting. Heard a rumour that he is wanted at Porto (although I doubt he'd go there). I think he will stay but next year will be a big year for him.

Morata. He actually had the best goals-to-minutes played ratio of anyone in the team but the big thing is he really had very few minutes. He is a young kid and I do think he has potential but I think for him it will come down to whether or not he is prepared to wait on the bench. He hasn't complained which is a good sign. But if he thinks he can play at Arsenal or somewhere else then maybe he would go. I don't think the club are going to find another backup for Benzema that is

Varane. Zidane will still rate him but I think the injury is worrying some at the club. Also he finally showed some signs of vulnerability which simply did not exist in his first two seasons. There could potentially be lots of suitors but I would of course keep him.

Jesús. Nobody cares about the 3rd goalkeeper. He's too old to say that he has a lot of potential. He is what he is and even if both Casillas and Diego Lopez were to leave, the club would buy someone else. He's just not that great. If there were an offer from a team in 1st or 2nd division (or Greece!) that would give him a chance for sure he would go.

For sure staying: Carvajal, Sergio Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, Nacho, Alonso, Modric, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema, Jesé.
