Recife is a very big city with 3 clubs with big fanbases but not very successful. Those images are probably of some chosen parts of the city. I don't believe that more than 2% of the city is like this.

As far as I know, over 1 million just in São Paulo city.
Neymar is mixed black and white. His hair is naturally curled, but he makes it straight.
Obviously has Latin blood, hence the balance problem.

Re: 2014 World Cup - Group Stages
Luis Suarez has now been banned for 34 matches since 2010 - without receiving a single red card.
Not sure what match to watch, both are tasty, not many Germans sung the anthem, then again it's raning.
Portugal took the lead thanks to an OG....with an assist from the ref FFS. Ghana is better.
Poor Africa!

Save energy and getting first place. Whats more to do? If USA wanna be first, they have to open up.

compilation of all Klose's world cup goals shows why I struggle to remember a single one. kinda love that the longest distance goal he scored was from the penalty spot

Re: 2014 World Cup - Group Stages
He is a madman but if I had a choice of:
1. Being bitten hard enough to mark but not draw blood
2. Having someone spit in my face (on the cheek, would be different if it went in your mouth)
3. Being elbowed hard near one of my eyes or on my nose.
4. Someone going studs 1st on to my shin/ankle with force
I would take the 1 and 2 anyday over 3 and 4 yet the 3/4 seem worse to many - diving or pulling someone's shirt at a corner is probably considered worse thatn 3/4 in this country !!!

But surely the intention of biting is too break the skin, he's just not that good at it. I'd rather be elbowed than be on the receiving end of a Tyson incident.

yeah Portugal's GD is awful thanks to the Germany loss, so they'd have to win by 3 or 4 to get through.
Ghana the best bet for a surprise now. and just missed an absolute sitter

Re: 2014 World Cup - Group Stages
Hmm so Suarez bites someone while on International duty in Brazil and we have to pay for it? Sounds fair.
He's an idiot and to be honest with you I'd happily sell him right now - it's got to a stage where he's a liability for the club but I can't see why we should have to pay for something he did with Uruguay.
Not only is he going to miss key games for us (again) but we won't be able to sell him either. Where's our compensation for that?

If you didn't want this you shouldn't have stuck by him and given him a big new contract. Same with us when we signed Barton and he got sent to prison, we made our bed.
I expect Liverpool could sue Suarez for compensation if they want.

As a club we tried to help him and it looked like it had worked - he didn't do anything controversial all season. You stick by your best player, simple as that, especially when they are as good as him.
This time though he has gone too far. He has had no regard for club or country and has refused to accept responsibility.
Still, it doesn't make sense that we have to pay for it - we aren't responsible for his behaviour while he's with Uruguay surely. Club level fair enough, we would be responsible because we are the ones who have a team of people trying to help him.
We can get compensation from Suarez but where does that help us in terms of results? We're going to be far worse off without him or the money we could have got from his sale to help buy another good forward.
