He does have football brain and i think he uses it too much which leads to him not being selfish enough (for a striker) to want to score goals rather than create for teammates. Whenever he gets the ball he doesn't think 'i can score from here', he first looks for teammates, i guess that's his football brain. So he needs to be selfish like Pippo Inzaghi, but can he be?
Consistency, in his fourth/fifth season at the highest level he should be consistent. And please don't bring up the age issue because we know football has a lifespan and he is already midway in his lifespan. His career started early like L Ronaldo and Del Piero, and from what we seen from them then Rooney is very likely to be in his prime. If that's the case then he is already as consistent as he can get.
Euro 2004 tells us that he matured too early for his age. That performance was from someone who is matured.
Truly speaking, if Rooney was from Nigeria then we would be going through his birth certificates.
