Players who get over rated on these boards

Have you been watching the same games I have? In regards to Ronaldinho he turns on the style whenhe can be bothered to.

Essien is the only player atChelsea who is playing consistently well.

Yep, most posters here regard Scholes as one of the best english players

Scholes is criminally overrated on here IMHO. I actually like him, I think he's a quality player, but some on here think he's the messiah.

Most people here think he's England's saviour despite not scoring for 3 years at international level. Then they blame Gerrard for that, despite the fact that England never lost a single game with Gerrard in the side during that period. Infact, that only happened once Lampard came along.

& who did Lampard replace?

Scholes wasn't a messiah but he was used in the right way by every national manager bar Sven. Hoddle and Keegan raved about him.

Yea, I'd go for underated myself in regards to Scholes.

I like his mold of player personally.

World class midfielder at his best, and nobody will ever question his talent. I just think there may be 2 things about Scholes that people may be critical of:

1. His tackling. He is very lucky imo to have as few red cards as he does have.

2. When he went 2-3 years without scoring for England, some were beginning to question his role in the team.

Superb player though, and I'll always think highly of him.

Gerrard had never played a major tournament before Lampard arrived in fairness. Just qualifiers and friendlies (and Eriksson's record in qualifying groups was spectacular)

I have never heard about Carlos Puyol gettin bigged up, infact for Barcelona he is pretty impressive and is in the same class as John Terry (no nonsense defender)

Obispo you talk crap mate... pace-merchant??? not quite, he is 19 years old and scored 2 prem goals this season he has more quality than just pace
