As good as Henry is, he often needs a lot of space to really spark.

Drogba, as you've seen, is brilliant even in the narrowest of spaces.

Tell me, what did you make of the shameful and spiteful dive by Henry to try to get Puyol sent off on the biggest football stage of all? You see, the very best players don't do such things in the biggest games. Henry cared more about revenge than about setting a good example as one of the most high-profile players, or about the rules.

This is, to me, a far worse offence that Zidane's headbutt, because it is so dishonest.

Hardly. Drogba dives - almost all players dive, including Henry. Henry used the world's biggest football stage to try to get revenge for his own inability to finish in the CL final. Huge difference. One is merely cheating like most/all top players cheat. The other is a ridiculously arrogant and stupid type of cheating. Only Henry and a handful of others are as sly and snide.

Robbie Keane is a better player than henry. Far better, in fact. When will people demand footballers are brought back into the game to save it from the atheletes that have been killing it for a decade?

Cheating is cheating. You try and win an advantage by having one player sent off or by winning a penalty. Its still poor sportsmanship, i fail to see the difference. Ultimately, it is still the attempt at gaining an unfair advantage over the opponent.

Henry has pace. yes of course but the way he beats players requires far more than just pace. I dont recall Cisse being able to beat p;ayers like Henry does. Surely he should get some praise for his ability to change direction quickly.

Your point about better footballers is interesting. At playing a DB role behind the strikers, Robbie keane is a better player than Henry but then surely any attacking midfielder is better than a defender as they have far more skills. It doesnt make them a better footballer, not by a long shot.

Surely people who can couple pace, with ball control like Henry and Robben should be congratulated for his ability.

saints come on here. Ive honestly never seen such a ridiculously bias argument from someone who quite clearly has a lot of common sense. henry was actually fouled by puyol so it was not a dive. where he went wrong was clutching his face. ive no problem with you showing disgust at this but to try to differentiate from drogba who recently put in one of the worst displays of sportmanship you are ever likely to see throughout a whole half against barca only makes you sound ridiculous im afraid
