OKAY Liverpool will probably go on and Win the Champs Lge ( Cant see what they cant), BUT who's to say we win both our games in hand ( ie 5 points ahead of pool), and they could go out next round and maybe with European Distractions they could drop a few points, but then again we could do the same, but yeah anyway whats with all the animosity between Pool and Arsenal posters on this forum always thought we had a friendly rivalry....

Roma...
PSV would be alright, but having played them twice already, I'd fancy Koeman to pull something out of the bag on the 3rd occasion.

Nah, even if we come third and they go out against PSV, they have now had the better season (unless they come 5th). If we won today then it was arguable but we will have to come second and them not getting to the final of the CL for us to have a better season now.

Isn't that just based on your own expectations though?
Before the season started, all the Liverpool fans on here honestly felt they had a chance at the title and many thought they were favourites to pull it off, so coming 4th in the league may be a huge failure, unless they make it to the CL final

What and Arsenal fans didn't? don't make me laugh, 4th would be a failure but we'll most likely finish 3rd and if we can win the CL no one will care

Opps.
With Brown having to play right back, probably Silvestre or Heinze and play Evra left back.

Really on fire today aren't you
What makes you think that 'you'll most likely finish third'?
And if you go back and check - none of us thought we could realistically win the title, unlike your arrogant bunch who were acting liek you'd won the title before the season had aven started with your BRILLIANT signing Kuyt - who has been pissed all over by Martins and Berbatov this season

poor Tweedy, what about your 'brilliant youth team who will one day win the premiership' rubbish. You're losing all your big boys and its costing you dear, everyone thought it would be a 4 horse race not just Liverpool fans, we'll most likely finish 3rd because we have a better team than you and todays win was a big psychological boost

haha, you're such a numpty - you can only use quote marks if you're quoting something someone said by the way
Losing to all the big boys what a fool! We're actually top of the big four table
Better team? 3-1? 6-3?

I said you're losing your big boys i.e. Henry, Vieira, Pires, Cole, it's had a big effect on you as i'm sure losing Gerrard, Carragher and Alonso would have an effect on us.
Those were cup games, in the CC it was a reserve game, we saw today the proper full strenth teams and we destroyed you

Its still pointless comment to be honest - sure we don't have RVP and Henry but to be honest, our run in and Pools is pretty comparable

Like the game at Ashburton you mean? y'know, the one in the league that we beat you in?
So we've played each other 5 times this season, and Arsenal have won 4 of them...

We were not at full strength today - Gilberto, V Persie and Henry were all out today.

Its not a forgone conclusion that we will not finish third. We could easily manage that.
Luis is right though without the likes of van Persie, Henry and Gilberto (The big boys) we do suffer.

we've played each other 4 times mate.
Get your facts right, read posts properly and then put up an arguement
To conclude we have the CL to contend with and we are 3rd after beating your team 4-1, you are out of every cup and only have 3rd to play for which btw didn't show today.

Put up an arguement? something you seem to be incapable of it seems...
You've completely ignored our league game in your arguement and you seem to think that we were at full strength today whilst at the same time saying that we're missing all our big boys

Cup or League, it makes no difference. They are still games that you go out to win.Luis wrote:Those were cup games, in the CC it was a reserve game, we saw today the proper full strenth teams and we destroyed you
Luis - We were not full strength today. Henry, Gilberto Silva and van Persie are huge players. But fair play you did outplay us today, like we did at the Emirates.
Its a nothing argument really.
