Why would we bother losing with kids when we could just beat them with our first team? Seems like pigheadedness to me.

Arsenal are still winning
Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool
Arsenal 3-0 Liverpool (Prem)
Liverpool 1-3 Arsenal (Fa Cup)
Liverpool 3-6 Arsenal (League Cup)
i think bonus points should be given for winning a competition, e.g.
League Cup = 1 pts
Fa Cup = 2 pts
Champions League = 3 pts
Final league position, if higher = 1 pts
point/goal

it's only a month or so since our fringe players beat Chelsea

I think Liverpool will have the better season.
Liverpool will finish higher in the league.
Today, Arsenal lost the best chance of relative "success" they had, though they might get lucky in the FA cup and progress (not that they'll win it).
As for the CL, I think both can still progress, it's 50/50. Presuming they went through, I'd say Liverpool are the more likely to make say, the semis.

So many fixtures, lots of injured players, now players suspended, not to sure about that.

they only play one of their games in hand (away to Villa) before they come to Anfield at the end of March for a spanking. Parity restored

I don't understand - what was the point in Arsenal knocking us out in the cups if they're gonna go and lose to Chelsea and Blackburn?
If they weren't interested they should have let us go through - we'd have won

Well played your team probably will be more successful this season as our team is mentally fragile and still has alot to learn.

Still too early to tell: If we finish 3rd and pool go out in the quarters, i wouldn't say they've had a better season than us.
