Liverpool's 1st kit is red, it clashes with Barca, i doubt this is the real motive behind it, the same was raised when Chelsea wore white.

A good start for Liverpool, Barca look too passive for my taste so far. Liverpool is way more aggressive.

There was a stage of 6-7 minutes where I thought we'd get twatted, thankfully it passed.

I have to be honest, this ref is doing my fucking nut in (maybe it's 'cos I'm not neutral).

Now I'm sure most know that I'm not one of those people that thinks Champions League refs should allow the physical stuff we get away with in the premiership but it can't be ref'd like La Liga either. There needs to be a middle ground. Agger's yellow in particular is not a joke. He's probably one of the cleanest defenders in Europe. He's got one yellow domestically this season and that was for a handball. That was fucking joke descision. I do expect a bit more protection for the refs in Europe, s'understandable.

You can't stop all physical contact all together though. S'getting right on my cunt. I'm not saying we haven't benefited either - though obviously less so - Gerrard went over easy at one stage for example...

Oh well. Away goal atleast. Right before half time which could be psychologically pleasing. They looked a bit out of it right towards the end.
