Emerson was one of the best players in Juve under Capello.

Capello is a very good coach, and has won Serie A with 3 different clubs, and La Liga with Real. He had record breaking seasons with all there italian clubs - Milan, Juve and Roma. He is one of the most effective tacticians, and I think thats exactly what Juve need... Lippi might take more time to build a winning squad...

No...even I would not be sure if Vialli is our man in the situation Juve is in now. But then he was one of the names doing the rumor mill. But of it would be a disaster if Capello was to be brought back. Not sure how many other names are there eligible for the job except Lippi (really hope he changes his mind)

yes. no more capello. Im still confident Lippi will take control, even if it is only for a season.
There really are no other suitable candidates who dont have a job at the moment so he has to see it in his heart to come back!

well to be honest, he wouldnt be that bad and definitly id prefer him to ranieri but something doesnt sit well with Juve and Capello. It is the same thing that meant Carlo A wasnt right for Juve, must be something to do with AC.
Personally i can't forgive him for the awful CL performances that Juve put in under his management. The team seemed lifeless and clueless in those games, and he did bring emerson with him too!

sorry dude i disagree. A poor man's makelelle, with sloth like speed and grace.
I'll give you, when he had a bit more zip at roma he wasnt a bad player but he never did it for Juve. Doesn't sound like the madrid fans like him too much either.

Sissoko's a class player, He's got fantastic strength, and tackilng ability, defensively he's quite sound, he can't pass at all though, that's really let him down this season and he may have a bit of a confidence problem, He's got bundles of potential and if you get him you'll be getting a quality player

As Luis says - bags of energy and he must be a nightmare to play against. He just needs someone to lay the ball off to who'll handle distribution for him.

Selling Sissoko for more than we paid for Mascherano would be a major coup.

It's not official but looks very likely, it's not a rip off if Sissoko turns into the new vieira which could be very likely

    Read Roger's post.

Did you ever see Vieira win the ball and then get rid of it like it's a hot potato.

    Vieira could play as well.

If he's the new Vieira why would you be selling him, regardless of price. Doh

Otherwise you should keep him and get rid of either Mascherano or Xabi Alonso (sell them to us Razz) to make space.

    Duh!

Mascherano may have had a terrible start in europe, but he was a legend b4 joinin west ham, and now seems to be coming back to he usual...

You did get a good price for sissoko... its surprising, Juve are usually sensible with their money.... oh, I forgot, they don't have moggi anymore Wink

I said he has potential to become like Vieria, he is a similar player, although yes, he needs to work a hell of a lot on his techincal side, his passing is attrocious, if he can get that right he'll be some player

€17m is £11.5m which I would consider good business for us.

If Tarundang is correct and its £8.5m/ €13m, then that would be about the minimum I'd have let him go for.

But Luis - Sissoko is good enough and young enough to want to be first-choice. He is never going to get ahead of Mascha, Xabi and Gerrard in the centre of midfield. And if he sits on the bench for us for 2 years his value won't increase.

Not desperate, last season when Masch wasn't here I said I'd m,uch rather have gerrrard and Momo in the middle than Alonso and Gerrard, now that Masch is here, it has to be Gerrard or Alonso to partner him, seeing as Gerrard will most likely be on the right next season, Alonso has to partner Masch, so Sissoko must go
