it's not CR7 anymore, get with the times. It is now CR94.

why isnt cesc consider WC anymore in was just 2 years a go, that almost everyone on here was saying he is way better than iniesta and all that, not to mention the who Xavi argument, so why isn't he WC anymore.

Cambiasso is close, but i think the likes of masch and yaya are better than him defensively and yaya and essien offer more in attack.

Last season Cesc was poor so he's gone off the radar a bit. I don't think he's good enough for Barca. Best stay clear of him

I didn't reply to your Cambiasso answer because I agree with it.

Re Cesc, he was brilliant in the 07-08 season but last season, he wasn't. This season he's got 4 assists and 2 goals it 2 EPL games, which isn't bad. Lets watch this space. If he has a great season, he'll be in the world class category.

That's rubbish logic. Diego doesn't get in the Brazil squad, but Baptista does...and Baptista can't even get in the Roma side.

Cambiasso is amongst the best DM's in the world, regardless of any Maradona agenda. Mascherano, Essien, Toure are arguably better, but after that you're struggling. Toulalan is another that I like.

It is close between Masch, Yaya, Essien, & Cambiasso... not as straight forward as your logic, coz Cambiasso does ve a good combo of defence & attack to offer, so it depends on personal preference. But I cannot fault someone for picking any two of these players above Cambiasso, just as someone cannot fault anyone picking Cambiasso above the others. Its close. My previous post was a reaction to Lrd's silly comment that Cambiasso isn't even in the consideration set.

Re Cesc, I think he was borderline WC 2 years ago, and his performances have dropped since. Cesc didn't get voted into our list of WC players even 2 years ago.

He was (argueably) WC, two years ago. Definately no where close to it now. Case in point - almost all of us voted for Zambrotta 2 years ago, he was the defender with the highest votes.... there is no way he is considered WC now. These things change.
