He'll get "injured" and won't be able to play, if he's a traitor he must face the consequences of being one!
If he does come then there will be more pig heads and bottles of whisky

They will certainly be competeting for a UEFA spot, they have an excellent young manager in Novellino as well. They should have competed last year but had the lead weight of Zaccheroni around their necks.
FIRST X1:
SERENI
Comotto
NATALI
Franceschini
Balestri
Rosina
CORINI
GRELLA
Lazetic
BJELANOVIC
DI MICHELE
Purchases this summer so far:
Sereni (p, Lazio); Rubin (d, Cittadella), Natali (d, Udinese); Corini (c, svinc., Palermo), Grella (c, svinc. Parma), P. Zanetti (c, Ascoli), Ventola (a, Atalanta), Bjelanovic (a, Ascoli), Malonga (a, Monaco), Di Michele (a, Palermo)
Samp have lost another one of their best players, Terlizzi has joined Catania. That's two big players for Catania now - Tedesco and Terlizzi. Samp are just losing everything, manager, strikers, but crucially they have kept hold of Palombo so far and made an excellent signing in Caracciolo and have the 'miracle worker' in charge.

Add Doni in goal, Panucci will still be right-back, Pizarro/Aquilani. Esposito can cover on the wings and is an excellent buy, i'm interested to see what Roma do with Brighi. Palermo should be in for him.

Re: The Italian Summer - Transfer Talk 2007.
Parma bid for Rossi
Friday 6 July, 2007
Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi has revealed that the Ducali have made a bid for Manchester United’s Azzurrini starlet Giuseppe Rossi.
The American-born marksman developed in Parma’s youth system before joining the Old Trafford outfit and returning last season on loan.
Rossi shone in his spell at the Stadio Tardini with nine crucial goals in 19 outings and Ghirardi is hoping he may return on a permanent basis.
“Two days ago we spoke to the Manchester United directors and they told us that Rossi was for sale,” he revealed. “We made an offer and we’re waiting for a reply.
“Signing Rossi would be an excellent move that would be perfectly in keeping with the ethos of the club.”
It is believed that Rossi’s future may depend on whether or not the English champions complete the signing of West Ham’s Carlos Tevez.
Ghirardi’s comments came at the unveiling of Parma’s summer signings, including Reginaldo who signed from Fiorentina on Thursday.
The Brazilian hitman’s arrival was overshadowed not only by talk of Rossi, but also by the Parmigiani chief’s comments about the David Di Michele transfer saga.
The Roman striker had looked all set to join Parma before making a last minute U-turn and signing for Torino.
“Palermo conducted themselves correctly, but the agent didn’t,” he explained.
“We never said that the deal was done, but we had an agreement with the player before the agent changed his mind.”

Re: The Italian Summer - Transfer Talk 2007.
If we sign Tevez, even on loan, there is absolutely no room for Rossi in our squad and he will be sold. It would be a good decision IMO, he's too slight for the Premiership and more suited to a measured game.
Wonder what the fee would be.

Re: The Italian Summer - Transfer Talk 2007.
After Real, the team to have conducted themselves most disgustingly this transfer season is Inter. Not because of Suazo or Chivu etc. but because they have virtually no Italians in their team.
Grosso is off, on his way to Lyon. Toldo may leave to Real. Inter are full of foreign talent. I mean they're obviously good players, but Inter's philosophy is pathetic.
These imbeciles will beg for Figo to stay and Moratti will pay Recoba insane amounts of money, but won't give a World Cup winner an improved contract, only to then sell him off to Lyon. His agent even said Inter was his priority.
Pathetic.

You can't compare that to what Calderon is doing, can you? He is operating at a new low for football.

I think that's a good move for Zaragoza. Olivera is a good player. Also amazed at Gross only went for £5 million. I thought he was one of the best players at the WC.

i know, Inter bought him for 4 million BEFORE the WC. And now they sell him for a measly 5 million and they also need a new LB in addition to a CM and RW.

What`s the latest about Valeri Bojinov? I heard Fiorentina want to sell him, preferable abroad. Werder Bremen is linked with him, according to an unreliable source though...
