With most of the "future" teams I have seen thus far, Anderson starts of in the centre behind the main striker, is this his natuaral position. I thought he started on a wider position do do his damage.

Re: U*d sign Nani and Anderson
These players are young and can change there styles and strengths as they get older, I don't see a reason why there is rush to fix in their playing position so early on in their career. Good attacking players tend to be versatile i.e Henry, Figo, Nedved ... they can usually play 2/3 attacking positions in different formations.Cesc wrote:With most of the "future" teams I have seen thus far, Anderson starts of in the centre behind the main striker, is this his natuaral position. Why would we have points deducted?
It would just mean we can't sign him.

Re: U*d sign Nani and Anderson
I cannot believe with all the publicity over Tevez that Man U would be so stupid as to agree to an 'illegal' deal. Particularly after they passed on Tevez and Mascherano (twice) precisely because they thought the contracts were dodgy.

Re: U*d sign Nani and Anderson
Just another question, again the same one, how many of you have actually seen either Nani or Anderson play?
Not youtube, not a highlight...an actual match start to finish? More than once?
It's just the comments I keep reading makes me wonder. Even Bobby Robson was talking about these two without, admitingly, having ever seen them play.

Re: U*d sign Nani and Anderson
I have seen Anderson play about 4 times, half in the league and the other half in the CL and I have been very impressed by him in 75% of the games.
I have seen Nani play about the same, 3 times for the national team, once in the league and I have been very impressed by him in 50% of the games.
Why do you ask?
You should take what people say on here with a pinch of salt. Everyone is eithe rseriously over hyped or under hyped. The united fans will all be really excited and hype them up a bit and the usual detractors will under rate them a bit. Occassionaly there will be a middle ground, but it doesn't happen often.

Re: U*d sign Nani and Anderson
I only ask because it seems ppl make their judgements without knowing anything about the players...not sure how that works.
It seems ppl don't even know what positions they play, and yet talk mater-of-factly about them.
It just seems that, like with any player, you'd base your comments on having watched them over several matches and not just some highlights or an odd match.
Almost reminds me of the situation when ppl said Ronaldo was $h!t because he wasn't performing in England, while he was lighting it up for PT and yet no one took that into account.
