read in AS that Real Madrid are after Drenthe (I know they must fill a whole paper every day). They see him as the perfect replacement for Roberto carlos and reckon they can get him for less than 10M€. :haha:

    @ Deano

Lets not get carried away , this is Feyenoord we are talking about

things look good but there is something lurking in the dark around the corner , for sure if i was a Feyenoord fan i will be excited , the chance of winning a third league title since the Great GOD came and won it 'single handily' back in 84'

is possible , but anything can happen..

Cruyff is only a legend cause of his year at us

    W.G.

Lots of ajax fans see Barca as their gay mate or something, hence Barca is not that populair in this area as in the rest of the country Razz

Cruyff proved that one man can make a ALLMIGHTY difference , especially to clubs that seem to struggle.

IMO , Feyenoord will be one of the 2 hot favourites (atm)

they do have that advantage over their near rivals (no European football to distract)

If Feyenoord can get a consistent start , with a XI playing week in week out without no injuries , on course for the Championship

AZ would be the challenger , van Gaal is hungry plus players are coming back from injuries.

Biggrin Biggrin Biggrin Danny Koef wants desperately a move to Feyenoord. He is welcome though.

There's a very real new danger for Feyenoord : expectations are getting way too high at the moment...

You've done great on the transfer market, but guys : please live down the hype, otherwise I can see you shooting yourself in the foot....*again*

Well, the NOS have been spot on lately. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Maybe he watched footage of that Feyenoord - Spuds match in the 80s (and/or the next match in the 90s) when De Kuip filled with Argentinian flags & was going mad shouting "Argentina! Argentina!"
