Yeah, we should be alright from here now on, but the refs still piss me off. Lugano doesn't see red for an elbow on Guerrero, but the refs sends off Vargas (stupid of el Loco, but the fucking ref was biased, FUCKING BOLIVIAN c**t!)

Then the c**t doesn't call the clear handball for a penalty for us but YOU KNOW he'd call that for Uruguay.

At any rate, our goal was six games in this Copa America to work out things in a competitive environment and we got that. One more game to work things out.

In case it wasn't clear earlier, let me say that Uruguay deserved to win the game for many reasons. They've been together for five years, we're still trying to build a team (we arrived with so many injuries); they had the upper hand this game.

However, it must be pointed out that the ref was extremely biased. He was not judging the teams equally, and EVERYONE pointed that out. That's something that our players are used to already, and they'd better expect that in qualifiers as well. That'll never change. A lot of people (Chileans, Bolivians, Ecuadorians) HATE Perú and I don't know why. Biggrin I should've known CONMEBOL wanted Uruguay in the Final when I saw they chose a Bolivian c**t to be the ref. ok

Markarián also gave the game away by leaving out our midfielders who can generate football in midfield in Lobatón and Guevara. He also played Carmona who is strong and fast. We've always beaten Uruguay by playing Puro Toque football, not by trying to match them up physically!!! He brought in Lobatón when we were down 2-0 and with ten men. However, it's obvious that Markarián did not want to KO his native Uruguay and that's understandable.

We'll give El Mago Markarián a free pass this time, he's earned it since our goal was SIX GAMES in this CA and he got us there. So no big deal losing to his native country. We are still building. DAMN! but it still hurts, we wanted more.

Say thanks to Nicolás Leoz for that. Venezuela were robbed last night. Clearly the ref was for Paraguay just like the other fucko was for Uruguay in the game against Perú.

The facts of life in Leoz's CONMEBOL.

I don't blame the Venezuelans for going after the Paraguayans once the game was over to whoop their ass. They were robbed. It was frustratingly obvious that Paraguay had to reach the final no matter what just like Uruguay.

Biggrin Look Debbie, we Peruvians are very happy with what we've accomplished without six of our starters. We are delighted that we have strength in depth as well, and we'll need a lot of players in the qualifiers.

Could Perú have made it to the final? Personally I believe that our coach did not send our strongest team to beat his native Uruguay. However, he's done a heckuva job for us, we'll just let it slide as a 'he was trying different formations and different players since he's still trying to find the best team'. Markarián has earned the benefit of the doubt big time, he earned that credit.

I personally would find it extremely hard to KO your own country in a tournament that you know your native country is in such a position to take the lead in CA trophies won. No sweat for me! our goal was six games or as many games possible to play in this tournament, and our coach helped us achieve it.

Did he deliberately make it easy for Uruguay to beat us? Did he make it really hard for us to beat Uruguay? I leave that to his own conscience. What we all saw is that he left three key players out who were in the best position to cause Uruguay great problems in Chiroque (the little guy who scored the first goal against Venezuela), Lobatón (the midfielder with great vision and a fantastic long range shot), and Guevara (the midfielder who has a knack of feeding Guerrero). In their places, he substituted these three players with great technique with three 'runners' with no technique in comparison.

The ref was shamelessly biased, but that's another story.

Beating Uruguay is no big deal for us. However, it's gonna be really hard to beat them with Markarián as our coach, but I'll take just getting one point from Uruguay as long as we qualify to the World Cup.

Paraguay are a very good team, but they've reached their ceiling since they don't have the technique necessary to go further.

They are our first opponent in the qualifiers, AND WE WILL DESTROY THEM! Technique, technique, technique, we shall pass them to death!

Yes, Uruguay are worthy winners of Copa América 2011, and we shall crush them too when we get everyone back in the team.
