Congrats on winning the Euro U21.
If this is your B Team then what does your A Team look like?
I think Robben could have played in this tournament if you wanted him.

Once again Holland saved it's finest football for the final !
Great, great performance by a load of players who were virtually unknowns before this tournament
(Rigters, Pieters, Zuiverloon, Vermeer, Bakkal, Kruiswijk, Jong-a-Ping)

in Holland the clocks go quicker because we are low-lying. Gravity is stronger there and therefore pendulums have a slightly quicker turn.

Congrats.
But many of us already knew about De Ridder, Vlaar, Donk, Maduro, Babel, etc.

So how does it explain the ref's digital watch?
btw, Henry!

just to think this could have been England celebrating....
quite elated.
watched most of the games in Portugal (two at Lisbon airport due to delayed flights, and even had to board halfway through the SF penalty shootout).

Yep those were the known entities : also Drenthe and Waterman.
Rigters, the topscorer of the tournament, hardly got any playing time at NAC.
The other half of the team are all low-key players, even for those who follow Dutch football

Ouch! Did the captain at least announce the result on the flight?

no, I had to worry about it right through.
had to board just when Foppe kicked off before Taylor's penalty...

I think Robben could have played in this tournament if you wanted him.
Krul, Vlaar, Donk, Zuiverloon, Drenthe, Affelay, Aissati, Robben, Schaars, Babel, Sneijder, Huntelaar. All eligible among others... I'm forgetting quite a few others...
And our bench would have been awesome with the likes of Bruins and Beerens on there.

Van der Vaart only just turned 24 recently too.
And Robin Van Persie is still 23 too, so he could have competed as well.

Rigters will not stay in the eredivisie.
I reckon he'll go to a club like Bayer Leverkusen or Stuttgart.
