Re: La Segunda Division 2007/08
Munoz has returned to take over the club again. This is a guy who always wanted the best for the club. He only sold the club to the Baldasano group as they promised good investment, quite frankly, they have been a disgrace. Claiming inadequacies in the clubs finances and therefore not completing the deal? Surely they should have found all this out from Munoz beforehand. The real President of this club has returned though, hopefully for good. Heres hoping we can forget the scandal and start to the season and start to aim for promotion back to the Primera .

Malaga v Numancia should be a good game. Malaga have had my expected dip, but have only conceded 1 at home i think, numancia will be a defo promotion side imho, so it'll be a good test to ascertain whether malaga can keep their early season form going. i doubt it but you never know, they have a string of difficult games to come.

Algeciras is a bit of a rough ground with plenty of ultras about isn't it? I am sure I heard that somewhere. Sounds all good the deals you got going there mate, Gibralter is near and handy too for the cheap booze.
Should think there will be 30,000 odd in the Roselada this weekend, they have been getting some big attendances for segunda this term.

Very important game for us today. Albacete have been awful this season, but if they beat us we drop below them into the relegation places. Win, and it will start the climb back to the top 3, we would be within 8 points odd.
Malaga currently lead against Gijon, long trip that one, but could be worth it, I'm very surprised, expect Sporting to win comfortably after Malaga's loss in form.

He made the trip to Gijon? What was he doing up that end of the country?
Fairly surprised, thats now the third defeat in a row for Sporting though, they are slipping fast. Neither of these teams will be in the shake up for me.
Numancia, Elche, Tenerife, Sevilla At (although obviously cannot be promoted), La Real, Celta and I still believe we can make a recovery. They are the teams I am looking at.

Re: La Segunda Division 2007/08
Results went against form yesterday.
To begin with, Malaga seem to have got back to winning ways. They have now beaten direct rivals Sporting last week and this week Racing de Ferrol, coming from two goals down to win 4-2. Malaguistas will be top irrelevant of Numancias result against Cadiz tonight. Caaaaaadiz. We can boost ourselves into a mid table position amongst the challengers with a win, the Carranza will be rocking.
The other major result of note was Sporting's win in the Pizjuan. This was particularly against form. Sevilla Atleti had beaten Numancia last week and were on a fairly long unbeaten run whilst Sporting had lost three in a row! Certainly unpredictable as usual the segunda, all the better for us, and the other sides looking to make up lost ground.

Re: La Segunda Division 2007/08
A 0-0 draw against what is perhaps the best side in this division, should not be looked down on. Although with the Carranza behind los amarillos, I fancied them to at least score in this one, we could be staring at the top three if the wins fly in over the next few games. 9 points away - thats not a lot in the segunda.

Looks like Koke might finally return back to Malaga, would be a good signing if they get promoted.

Re: La Segunda Division 2007/08
Celta 1 - 1 Nastic (Ruben, Calle)
Interesting match made even more so by the ref. Nastic started the stronger of the two teams with plenty of posession without getting many shots on target. Nastic's goal finally came from a one-on-one between Antonio Lopez and our RB, who cut inside and shot with the save falling to Calle's feet. Celta only started to get into the game during the last 15 minutes of the first match.
The second half was pretty much more of the same with Nastic having possession without getting anywhere, and Celta failing with counter-attacks.
The match livened up when Lequi got his second yellow (the first was for arguing) for an innocuous challenge with Miki, Lequi then punched Miki in the jaw as he sat up. The bad mood continued as Miki body-checked Jorge as he broke forward. This led to an even bigger scuffle between the team with 4 Celta players being booked - including the GK. The final minutes were a succession of long balls into the box, finally getting our reward in the 90th minute when Roberto mishandled the ball allowing Ruben to slide in with the equaliser.
Saturday's Matches
Elche 2 - 2 Cordoba
0-1, m.1: Raúl (p)
1-1, m.11: Miguel
1-2, m.57: Gabri
2-2, m.85: Pere Martí
Las Palmas 3 - 1 Alaves
1-0, min. 18: Adrián (p).
2-0, min. 66: Adrián.
3-0, min. 74: Nacho Casanova.
3-1, min. 89: Arthuro.

Sounds like a lively game! Not a bad point in the end I guess. Keeps you on the edge of things, poised for a push into the top three when form hits. Nastic are in a similar situation to yourselves.
We have a trip to el molinon this weekend, tough game, especially after Sporting's victory against Sevilla Atletico last week. Would be delighted with a point.

I like Sporting. They've got a dangerous front three in Barral, Diego Castro and Kike Mateo. I really hope they go up this season. Good luck against them anyway.

Diego Castro makes it four! We are on the end of a thumping here! Problems still exist by the looks of it, after our little run, we get this. Not needed.
