Gilberto on for him, and he is not even fully fit.
He won't start Gilberto in his position, yet now is forced to play him out of position. Doh

Wenger better get a defender, at this moment anyone will do. Transfer season is still open for a couple of days..

Cancelling that loan would be a good idea. Surely one of the most baffling decisions this season.

Do you even make sense to yourself?

What, can you not read english...

As Owen said, why would I be talking about our games when it's in TODAY'S matchday thread.

Why are you clapping as well? scratch

I've made perfectly good points about Liverpool's performance. If you can't take that, then you really need to get a grip.

    I'm clapping because im a sarcastic c**t.

The point is simple, instead of WASTEING your time trying to some gratification picking up the scraps from our away win today, perhaps channel your time on your own team, who appears needs the help.. with ZERO wins this season, ... capice?

Is that easier enough for you to understand, do i need to get the picture book out?

Must i post the premiership table...

As long as Derby v Birmingham doesn't finish a draw, and one of Aston Villa and Bolton win, Manchester United will be in the relegation zone

Great Touch by Pennant to open up the play for Babel, leading to Voronin's goal.
That's more like the Torres we know from Atletico.

Torres is a good talented kid, and a good acquisition for Pool, but he's a 15 goal a season striker and at best he can rake in about 18-19. Never will be a 20(+) goal machine, which is what I think some pool fans see him as.

As long as he lays away the crucial goals like against Chelsea last week, no-one could care.

If he only scores 15 goals ill still be happy

what he gives the team is so so much more than goals. you saw numerous times today the bit of magic he can create to just skip away from defenders and create chance. we have not had this player for a long long time. his workrate is brilliant, he chases down lost causes and because of his speed turns them into chances, his movement improves our midfield options, he stretches the pitch for us and he will score goals if he continues to create so many chances for himself. that is the main reason we are so hopeful with him. we have not had a striker who is capable of creating chances for himself since fowler / owen. even today when he missed those sitters I was still delighted with him
Yeah I know that, but I didn't write it. He adds a bit of that creative X factor which Pool have been missing. That's why I think he's a good buy for Pool. I just think some are getting carried away with him in the sense that it does appear that he's expected to score 20. Torres will do lots for you, but he's still the frustrating player at times. He will miss sitter after sitter at times.

But like I said, if he comes good in the big games he's worth it.

If you can keep him happy he'll develop otherwise you might even end up trading him for Forlan.

Still a good buy for pool even though overpriced (and no Luis Garcia).

Bit of a rubbish wind up. Why should people only comment on their own teams. If that's so, why are you even here rather then, say, RAWK?

He watched the game and offered his negative opinion. Deal with it or piss off to RAWK where you can all wank each other silly over your decent start to the season.

    Good points Laugh

    here you go spank

There can be loads after today.
after a very good 2-0 away win during which their keeper pulled off numerous great saves and we were never really in trouble of conceding ??

    Loads of sloppy passing
and lots of good passing. these types of games are what the premiership is all about. the weaker team turn it into a fight because they are not as good. they worked their arses off in the first half and gave us no space at all. once we scored we opened them up with ease

    some terrible finishing by Torres
true but also some great goalkeeping. if torres continues to create chances as he did then this is hardly a negative is it ???

and you only started creating chances after Sunderland pushed for the equalier. Look at the way you only created 1 or 2 in the first half.
because they were working so hard, not leaving their own half and making it hard for us... ie what happens in lots of games like this in this league. do you not watch any football ???

we scored one goal, voronin missed a sitter and torres missed a sitter in the first half. not exactly a bad return is it ????

without our best player and having our two starting centre backs injured we won a tough game comfortably

The Pr!ck only ever offers a fucking negative response, thats why hes got a negative reaction from me.

I'm on the whole very objective for a scouser on Man Utd, and hes just a fucking knob who cannot arrange his sock draw let alone a structured arguement.

He deserves all the $h!t hes getting.

He could have just said 'scrappy but congrats on the 3 points'

Instead he trys to exaggerate the insignificance, the significant point is we won 3 points.

No it's because the English refs are c**ts. Rooney gets FAR more protection than RVP. That tackle on Rooney would have been a straight red.

Hamann had no intent to play the ball, he wanted to hurt RVP, should have been a straight red.

As long as Cech keeps a clean sheet I'll be happy.

Seriously our players are made of glass.
    Horror start for Arsenal.

Two midfielders in defence, because flamini has gone to RB.

Wenger is losing it. Seriously this is a terrible start.
Wait for Arsene to say in the postmatch interview: "No, I repeat, we won't buy anyone else".

    Crazy

Its a rather worrying start to the season, we nearly lost the first match but we somehow managed to turn it around and win it. Then we draw 1-1 with Blackburn, and now we are struggling vs Man City.

    Not good.

It's all because Wenger is too stubborn to take a risk in the transfer market. The whole lack of money excuse is nonsense.

The Djourou loan was completely baffling.
