Samaras reminds me a somewhat of Morientes in his younger days, though fortunately for 'nando he was getting games regularly at Madrid while Samaras has stagnated it seems.

Just remembered that Morientes was a great link up player as well, I don't think has the attribute in his game.

Like Lulu said he'll do good for B'ham.

You are arguing against facts here I'm afraid.

The average man in this country is about 5ft9/5ft10 and Samaras is 6ft4.

Samaras was always a striker for Heerenveen. Sometimes a bit more of a SS though. Quality player I think, very good technique.

    ok

    Marlon (27) £5m

    McFadden (23/24?) £5.5m

Sounds like a good fee for Brum.

Fulham are set to sign Cousin from Rangers for £3m.

Bardsley has signed for Sunderland £2m, not a bad signing especially with Evans going on loan their defence looks a lot stronger. Still given the amount of money they have spent since Keane took over its ridiculous that they have a squad that is struggling at the bottom of the table. God he has wasted a lot of money.

Surely he is not the one negotiating the price anyway.... and considering Jones is worth 40 mill now, thats a 34 mill profit, which more than makes up for the rest Cool

Id love to know how much he has actually spent and a list of the players he has brought in ones like Connolly £3m and Chopra £5.5 are ridiculous. Plus if Gordon is worth £9m is would like to see what Hart is worth in a few years time.

Overall he must have spent near £50m now.

Its the first surprising signing he's made.

Used to be good on Champo. Not sure how good he is in the real world though.
