TM wrote:Milan star Ronaldo is on course for a miraculous recovery from his horrific injury, and could be set to return in time for the start of next season.

The career of the Brazilian was believed to be in huge doubt after he severed a tendon in his knee playing against Livorno in February.

After a successful operation in Paris, it was estimated that he would be out of action for at least nine months, even if a more likely return date was said to be in 2009.

However Ronaldo’s rehabilitation has been going brilliantly well and he is so far ahead of schedule that he could return to playing in September, and even be ready for the start of the new season.

"His recovery is progressing well and we believe that the months of stop can be reduced to seven," Milan doctor Pierre Meersseman told Radio Kiss Kiss.

Ronaldo’s contract at San Siro runs out at the end of the season, but he is almost certain to be handed a fresh deal in the coming months.

Would be fantastic. None of the current top strikers in the world hold a candle to El Fenómeno

a tranvestite went to a police station to complain that Ronaldo didn't pay him/her.

    Ronaldo's version

he went to a nightclub to celebrate Flamengo's victory over Botafogo (he's a Flamenguista)

then, according to him, he hired 3 prostitutes and went to a motel. there, he discovered they were tranvestites, paid 1 thousand Reais (around 600 dollars) for each one and said "now go away". still according to him, one of the tranvestites offered him coke, but he said no. then one of them asked for 50 thousand, otherwise he/she would tell the press.

    Tranvestite's version

Ronaldo hired him/her and 2 more. Then he went with them to the City of God to buy coke and took them to a motel. There, he decided he wouldn't pay for the session, and then one of the 3 tranvestites went to the next police station to complain.

I really think it's none of our business if he likes tranvestites or coke. that's his problem - and Milan's problem if they think that coke can make him play worse. but if he really hired them and didn't pay, that's a naughty thing to do, to say the least.

    Thanks for the translation. Ale

One thing is for sure: Going by those photos, there is no way that he didn't know that they were transvestites, just look at those muscles! Either that, or he was too coked up to notice.

But yeah, I agree, it's his choice if he wants to spin the meat.

No, in his version when he arrived at the Motel and realized that they were Trannies he didnt want to do anymore, he still paid and asked them to leave, that’s when one of the trannies said that if he didn’t pay 50.000 he would tell the media.

So the police was called and Ronaldo is accusing him of extortion and Th Trany is accusing Ronaldo of lying.

Ronaldo is still banging women (?) with a broken leg? What a guy! lol

Crocked Milan star Ronaldo has become involved in a sex scandal in Brazil, after he spent Sunday night in a motel in Rio with three transvestites.

El Fenomeno is currently in his homeland as he continues his rehabilitation from the horrific knee injury he suffered against Livorno in February.

Yesterday some positive news hit the headlines as it was revealed that the 31-year-old was recovering brilliantly well, and could be back in action by September.

However some potentially damaging revelations have now hit the press, with ‘Globo’ stating that Ronaldo spent Sunday night in a motel in Rio de Janeiro with three transvestites.

One of the three men, Andre Albertino, has accused Ronaldo of drugging him, and has since posted a video of what happened on Youtube.

Ronaldo has told police that he picked up the three transvestites, in the belief that they were female prostitutes, and did not realise they were transvestites until they got to the motel.

The striker has accused one of the transvestites of trying to extort him, and said that after he offered to pay the transvestites anyway, one of them allegedly asked for $30,000 to hide the story from the media.

Ronaldo also denied having used any drugs, and his story has been believed by police inspector Carlo Augusto Nogueira.

"He admitted to everything, he wanted to have fun," Nogueira said.

"But he committed no crime at all, it was immoral at best."

Ronaldo has denied reports that his altercation with three Brazilian transvestites could cost him various sponsorship deals.

The striker hit the headlines on Tuesday when it was reported that he had had an encounter with three transvestites in a motel in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday night.

Ronaldo seemingly picked up the three men, believing that they were female prostitutes, and did not realise they were transvestites until they got to the motel.

One of the transvestites, Andreia Albertini, also allegedly attempted to extort Ronaldo, asking for $30,000 to buy a house in exchange for hiding the story from the media.

It has been reported that as a result of this altercation, Nike may decide to terminate Ronaldo's lucrative sponsorship deal, while Italian telecommunications company TIM, Brazilian beer brand Brahma and banking group Santander may do the same.

A statement on Ronaldo’s official website denies this is the case:

"The recent events involving Ronaldo are entirely of personal nature and do not in any way jeopardise any promotional deals, nor does it give rise to circumstances in which parties with whom he has contractual responsibilities have the right to rescind any deals."

Ronaldo's agent Fabiano Farah has furthered this statement up.

"What happened is not a legal matter,” he said.

"Decisions of this nature [the rescinding of contractual agreements] are not within the remit of those who have legal contracts with Ronaldo.

"His contractual agreements do not provide scope for that sort of decision, and could only be rendered null and void if Ronaldo were found guilty of something.

"But he has committed no crime, and has broken no law. On the contrary, he is the victim in this case."

Ronaldo is still in Brazili, as he continues his recovery

AC Milan wonder Ronaldo has guaranteed that he will be fit for competition in five months' time...

Brazilian journalist Ancelmo Gois reported today that Ronaldo is currently 7 kg overweight, adding that the striker is hoping to be 100% again by October.

Ronaldo is currently undergoing a recovery program after a season-ending injury to his left-knee, and Gois reports that the 31-year-old is committed to fulfilling the regimen.

The former Barcelona star has only one month left in his contract with AC Milan, having guaranteed that he will not renew with the Italian club.

"My contract with Milan ends in June and then I will be a free player," he told local program Fantástico. "But I do not want to negotiate with a club without knowing my real condition.

"Then, when I am fine and ready to play, I will choose my path, which is already set in my mind."

Ronaldo, who is believed to want to play for Flamengo, has reportedly been offered a lucrative three-year deal from a club from Qatar, but he is expected to turn down the contract and stay in his home country of Brazil.
