BM could have invested 23 quid and got the 200 quid back he lost last night plus the price of a couple of beers!

SAF must think the Chelsea game is more important thats why he didn't start Anderson and Nani today.

Kudos Zambrotta, Abidal, Toure (being half-injured and pulling out that performance), Iniesta, and Messi for a set of brilliant performances. .
Abidal contained Rooney, but i would give him a 4 for that stupid tackle on Ronaldo, it could have been given by some stupid ref. What the hell was he thinking! Ronaldo was going away from goal with the ball.
Iniesta was poor in the 1st half, played a little better in the 2nd, so I wouldn't call his overall performance brilliant at all.
This was one of his better performances this season. Tell me what he's done in a small game - he's usually been worse. He's only performed vs Villa home, Portsmouth home and Newcastle. He is not a flack track bully!!!Glenn Hysén wrote:Not a very good game. I think Fergie missed a trick tonight as Barca looked poor, unfit and tactically poor. United played fear football with a confusing team selection and they'd have been better off approaching the game believing they were comfortable favourites and playing their usual game.
The world saw tonight what Ronaldo is like in the big games and why he is so derided by EPL fans for his diving and selfish play. The fact that Rooney and Tevez were forced to play out of position to accommodate him didn't do the team any favours.
Fergie got it wrong, but he got away with it and I saw very little evidence from Barca tonight that they will win at Old Trafford.

Like I and Cruyff(sp) said before this match - ManU play a long ball game against teams that can keep possession whether that's Boro or Arsenal it doesn't matter. They don't have the ability to play a true possession game.Sheffield gunner wrote:0-0 FT
Well done Man Utd. They got exactly what they played for. I'm thankful that Ronaldo missed the penalty because it would have been a travesty if they won that game. Truly insipid, cowardly and negative from Man Utd. A squad that costs £150m or so, some of the best attacking players in the world and that is the best they can produce.
Barca played ok, and at least they tried to do something. Can see Man Utd winning this at OT unfortunately.

The penalty was not un-giveable....he made amends by not giving an even MORE blatant one!
