This transfer really will be the end for football...it will mean for sure, that money is everything...
This I can’t put my head around, unless he seriously believes the foreseeable future looks good at Man City: silverware and Champions League football what other reasons is there to move now? he be joining a team in a relegation battle. This is one huge gamble for Kaka. I don’t think he’s going for the money doesn’t seem the sort.. Then again anything is possible. I don’t have a problem with Man City but given their situation this transfer seems ludicrous.

City would be smarter to not got for the top players..just build it up a bit. Rome wasnt build in one day.
Can't help but think Kaka has ruined his legacy.

I'm out of his fan club that's for sure.

What about the upcoming stars, what would Lyon want for Karim, every fucking price in the market increases, what do West Ham would now want for Bellamy of City, 20-25m.

Its mostly the ££££.
Also though, its exciting times at City. By next season they could quite feasibly have a squad of world class players

It has f***** the transfer market though
GianDeano Zola wrote:Exactly TM...there is no way Kaka has gone there for footballing reasons, as it wouldn't make sense. I can't see any good reason for leaving AC Milan to go to Man City...

THIS transfer makes little difference to othe transfers IMO.
I mean how much do you value Ronaldo at? Kaka, Messi and Ronaldo were always 'priceless' and it would always take an extortionate amount of money to sign them.

HOW?
Its certainly made it more exciting but how exactly has it 'fucked' it?

Eh?
Ronaldo would have probably gone for £60M last season. Now MU will be looking for double that.
It will also infilate the price of average players also IMO.
These 'super-rich' clubs have built that wealth based on success, you had a level playing field, its not their fault you are looking bad.Kimbo wrote:Tweedle wrote:DS wrote:Black day for football.

I think i'm one of the few that aren't really arsed. Obviously fans of the super rich clubs are up in arms because an inferior club has way more money than them, suddenly they don't like being on the wrong end of an uneven playing field. Unlucky is what i say to them.

No it won't.
You would NOT have been able to get Ronaldo for £60m last summer, else you'd have him by now.
The only prices that will be inflated are for the players that Man city want to sign.
You can still get Jermaine Pennant for a pittence and the Kaka transfer ain't going to change that.

Oh please, so Madrid, Barcelona, Inter, Juve and Chelsea have been spending club generated money all these years? Have they bollocks.

We didnt get CR for two reasons.
1. SAF didnt want to sell him at any price
2. Ronaldo didnt push for the transfer because he was scared of SAF
