This is exactly what i'm talking about, not only Gago but many other are just not good enough. We are too sentimental about our players i.e ppl will defend Heinze by saying "he is good at centre-back though" no he is just plain old shite!!!, we need to get real(no pun intended Laughing ).

Kuyt is better then Higuain...and certainly for modern football. This Madrid has no pace, and isnt even a team to begin with. Perhaps they have a small edge in individual quality..but not much. Hell..what edge?

Benitez' Liverpool is built for these knockout matches : it doesn't matter who they play, they simply prevent their opponents playing football.

...and they do it by working as a team, working *incredibly* hard.

Not the most attractive sight, but extremely effective.

Ale The misspell makes complete sense. Roll over the Elections.

So much for anti football, I said Pepe was overrated and there was a doh in reply.

Not faulting, but do you think we only blamed our bad displays on anti-football in football in general. And Pepe is not overrated. He is rated just about right. On the other hand, Cana, Heinze, and even Ramos tonight are complete shit, that they got a football lesson from Babel and Kuyt. Laugh Doh

    As Pierre would say:

Madrid aren't big, they aren't strong, they aren't quick or athletic.

Liverpool are big, they are certainly strong, and they've got tonnes of pace/stamina & athleticism.

Welcome to modern football Madrid Ale

Well from what I could see Liverpool were the side playing football in the first half. The other lot were chasing shadows.

No excuses this time - only thing that can be said is well done to Liverpool. Comprehensive victory, you went for it from the first minute and we were simply the inferior side. 5-0 on aggregate says it all. Well played and I hope you go on to win it. Ale

No, otherwise I would have mentioned Keane! The best player of the EPL showed it in the 4-0 against Boro..but Kuyt(PGD and vision and skill) showed it with a 4-0 against Madrid...

Now im sure you will say Spurs>Boro>Pool>Madrid...but still!

If football were like conkers, then this would be true. Sadly, its not.

Although if Liverpool win the CL, we can at least boast we're the only side this season to beat the European champions twice. Which would be nice.
