What if it was the other side, linesman would be meters away, you dont need to tell a linesman, to take a short corner.

it wasn't a short corner, it was an attempt to gain an unfair advantage.

Christ, I'm losing the will to live here.

Did we deserve to win the game? Yes.

Did we deserve to win by 3-0? Yes, it should of been more.

Will we win the title now? Most probably.

Will that makes us the most succesful club in English domestic football ever? Yep. cheers

Its a quick corner, nothing in the rules you cant do it, like the quick free kick, or the yards gained on the positioning of freekicks or throw ins.
    Clutching at straws.

a corner or free kick isn't taken when the placer touches the ball DS, the ball has to move it's full circumference.

Legally it is, it is taken when the ball is touched.
It doesnt have to be in the middle of the corner marker, I havent seen a corner kick taken from the middle of that marker, it just have to touch that marker.

Yeah, and penalties have to be retaken if people encroach into the box...

    .

no, it has to move it's full circumference.

Otherwise how do we know when a free kick or corner has been taken?

I'm just explaining the rules I didn't expect to get this much resistance.

What if the corner taker just flicks the ball so that it doesnt spin and someone volleys it and it goes in? Would that not be allowed as the ball didnt do a full circumference?

it's not about spinning, it's about the distance it travels

Well the ball seemed to have travelled a decent distance before Giggs took over.
