That should be in the Bundesliga transfer thread.

In other news Bent is undergoing a medical at Sunderland.

Bruce again is doing well, got rid of Whitehead for 3-3.5 m, got in Cana for 5-6 m, got Campbell for 3.5 m (rising to 6), and now Bent.

Nikola Kalinic - does anyone know much about this guy ? £6.4m is quite an investement from Rovers and my mate who is a fan is really worried he might turn out to be an expensive flop.

Very good player, scored 15 goals and had 6 assists for Hadjuk last season, still 21-22, good mobile striker.
Wont be top of the shelf player but has potential to be a very good stable mid team prem striker.

I'm surprised Chelsea allowed one of their talents to go to an Allardyce team. He may get playing time in the Premiership, but I can't imagine it'll be too much use to him when having to come back to the tactics of Ancelotti (or whichever flavour-of-the-month manager is in charge).

You have to remember with teams like Chelsea that all they are looking to do is build up his name and then sell him on later. If hoofball will get him the most goals then it is the best choice.

Premiership minutes will raise his salable value kas, and as a 7ft striker there are worse places he could be than an Allardyce team.

Delph confirmed for Villa. £6m rising to £8m seems to be the accepted figure. Hope he's worth it

Yeah Brum, Wolves (both about £15-17m) and Sunderland and Chelsea (both over £20m) all spent well over what they made, although nobody has done to the same degree we have...well not in the EPL cos there is Real of course.

I think we'll make a couple more signings, hopefully Eidur, we still don't have a good striker group.

You spend that much on a backup centreforward...

This is why Twitter is cool. We don't need to deal with rubbish papers, the players will tell us when things are going on. Earlier this Summer a Minnesota Timberwolves basketball player broke the news of his coach being fired before the organization had held a press conference Laughing

Hull to announce the signings of Jozy Altidore and Seyi Olofinjana tomorrow.

£3m for Olofinjana seems a bit steep he didnt do too much at Stoke last year but not a bad midfielder.
