that's embarassing - I was at that game (which we won):
Atmosphere was excellent for a friendly, Modric was given a standing ovation when he came on to show how much the fans love him, rapport with Bilbao fans with a few Mexican waves and collective standing up cos we all hate arsenal () - when I left the stadium at 7pm there was no trouble and the atmosphere was very jovial. Shocked when I saw the news nexxt day , and headlined "tottenham riot" I did think at first football relates. No doubt there are slack hacks all over the world making the connection incorrectly

If only there was some sort of service available to extinguish the fires. I've been watching this building burn down on sky news for ages now.

I've been out all evening, is it only the shitholes of London that are burning down? I saw that Mare St was in flames, but what about the more trendy areas of Hackney? God help us when these morons start rioting in the decent parts of London rather than the dregs they are from.

I hate how unfocused riots seem to be, instead of smashing up your local JB sports go and attack a police station or a ministers house.

I don't think the local police stations have a very good selection of tv's for these greedy c**ts to loot.

London is pretty fucking big lulu. It's not like they are rioting in the same place. Croydon - clapham - Camden and Hackney are miles apart.

Don't care - If the Government saw potential of this shit escalating they should have used extreme measures. We're a fucking pussy Country at the moment being dominated by 14 year olds breaking into shops to nick a tv and burning down houses. Sickening.

Clearly the measures taken didn't work today did they? The police aren't in control of the situation. Sometihng else has to be done and if that's sending in the army to put a stop to it before more damage is done then so be it.
