It IS the same team. Just adds to the insult...

Besides, losing to Holland, let alone so clearly in a final, is NEVER acceptable in any form or time.

Would that same team lose / draw to those three teams if they had performed on the same level as the Euro final? I really doubt that, so we have nothing to be ashamed of.

I mean, of course it is insulting and embarrassing to lose to the Dutch like that, but not because of their performances down in Mexico... just because they are the Dutch, and that's all.

Shame about Aydin's red card... he has some strike on him. Perhaps we'll see Fabian Schnellhardt of Köln take his place in the next match.

cant believe how easy the way is for brazil to get to the final, while germany can met real big names (argentina, england, the home country mexiko)

    in the quarter

    england-germany would be great

but have to say that in U-tournaments no one can say if the so called big nations have better teams than smaller countrys, argentina looked like shit so far

It's a miracle how Argentina managed to advance with their shitty performances and crappy goal difference.

Couldn't watch our match as I was abroad in the last few days, but by the look of things it was another relatively comfortable win. Doesn't matter though, as the tournament really starts now. Youth tournaments are less predictable than their senior counterparts, so it's difficult to say how things will go from now on, but on paper, the team has a good chance to make it to the final and even win the title. Being strong and very compact in the central midfield should help, but they still need to improve concentration at the back and defend smarter as a team.

You have to be careful when it comes to African players in this age group, but he has been absolutely brilliant so far, clearly the best player of the tournament by some distance. And he actually looks his age. If that's really the case is difficult to say, but he definitely doesn't just rely on the physical side of things - looks like a very complete footballer.

Ivory Coast looked awesome in general, some great attacking football. One of the favourites for me, although France should give them a tough time.

Ridiculous that we went out during my small trip abroad! Not suprised to see that backpass where Congo(it's the U-17 ffs not U-31) scored from was from a player that played for ajax!

A real shame that we can't humiliate Germany again now, but on the other hand, beating Germany in football should be something special, not a monthly affair, even though it happened twice lost month.

I watched the highlights, and quite frankly, I fear North-Korea more then Germany these days Blut!

Oh well, the Euro title will have to do, otherwise we will lose even more players!! Most of the Fey-jugend leaves before 20 abroad. Pity.

Uzbekistan and Brazil have qualified for the 1/4 finals. The Uzbeks look surprisingly good, some genuine talent in their ranks. Japan look strong also, spanking New Zealand 4-0 atm and most likely will face Brazil in the 1/4 finals. Congo is leading 1-0 against Uruguay in the other match.

Unlucky Krauts, they get to face one of them teams in the world who see them exactly as what they are: bullies who take advantage of the weak-minded teams.

Watch this game Tina Fey! you'll love it! USA-Germany Whoop

For those who don't know, these are the teams who aren't impressed by the Germans at all: Brasil, Italia, USA, Perú, Spain, France, Argentina, Paraguay.

The Krauts may beat the last six teams, but it's not because they were feared.
