Hacke Spitze 1,2,3. It's 4-0 now and they're still running rings around them. Almost arrogant how the team is 'celebrating' their dominance. Should slow down a little and save energy for the upcoming tasks.

A perfectly fine goal not given, supposedly offside. Should be 5-0 by now.

Just turned on England. Apparently it'll be a shootout after 90 mins if it stays like this, so that'll no doubt give you Germans something to mock..10 mins to go

Argentina have been pretty shit so far in the tournament, so England winning the shootout can't be ruled out. The problem is the English goalkeeper, a traditional Fliegenfänger...

This could take a while...can't see the keepers saving any, and it's not necessarily because they're so difficult to save...

He is a very gifted player. He has the same presence on the pitch indeed, hardly loses any tackles and initiates most of the attacks. Great prospect.

    lol!

So wonderfully, typically English. Just shut your eyes and hit it as hard as possible.

England keeper makes a decent save to preserve parity though.

England win a penalty shoot-out! Never thought I'd see the day. No doubt Puro will claim that the vastly superior Argentine players succumbed to media hype about England's penalty-taking prowess, otherwise they would never have missed a kick.

Argentina didn't deserve to be in the second round after their shitty group stage performance to be honest. I knew that England stood a chance to win the shootout, just underestimated the Fliegenfänger. Congrats!
