Think off the pitch they are good friends after the Arsenal - Man United they spent 5 minutes on the pitch chatting. Hopefully Fabregas offered to buy Ronaldo some of the doughnuts the Arsenal players enjoy.

Not hard to imagine down the road both playing on the same team at Real Madrid.

Ronaldo's incredible form is annoying me. Even if a Man Utd game is 0-0 at half time, you know he will step up in the second half, it has happened so often this season. Before December I would have said that Fabregas is the favourite to win the Premiership Football of the Year. Ronaldo is probably ahead of him now as a favourite.

1967/68 season George Best scored 32 goals in 52 games, 28 of those goals was in the league. This will be somewhat of a challenge for Ronaldo. Best was 22 when he achieved that ..

That's what he should be aiming for this season. Last seasons it was 20+ for both goals and assists. No way is he getting less than 30 goals this season, but no way is he getting 20 assists.

In all fairness, after he scored two last night he basically stopped shooting and played very creatively, so I'm thinking Fergie/Queiroz have had a word with him about making small adjustments to his current form to get a few more chances out of him. That's all he needs to do for me to jump on the WPOTY bandwagon.

Actually agree with LRD him getting less assists is somewhat related to Saha being having a bad season , how good Rooney may be he isnt someone who will convert crosses etc regularly.
He lacks direct assists which relates to our style actually the highest assister you would find is Nani and he has got 3-4 corners in that.

Nani is a great crosser, passer and set-piece taker. Good vision too. He is like Hleb with less skill and better technique.

I've got big hands so I could probably hold 10-12 assists

Have high hopes for him , think he can be Giggs replacement.
