Yes! He just kicks players or gets injured and if you're lucky he'll score an own goal.

I agree. We should buy a few useful players, but the problem is Berlusconi and Galliani want to make this transfer season extraordinary. I hope they also remember that we need some more modest signings as well to reinforce certain areas of the squad.

Yes, you are right, all Milan fans know this. We need to strengthen many areas of the team with some shrewd signings. One or maybe even two star signings would be great, more so for the Champions League.
I'm not sure really, who that big star could be looking at most top players, they have either moved or are settled. Berlusconi should concentrate on signing some quality to, like you say, reinforce the squad as a whole.

I am actually very dissapointed with Milan in the transfer window , I thought they will really be on fire as they would want to win the scudetto.

IMO Milan should sign some younger players to improve the squad, lets not forget Milan did win the Champions League last season and this was without Ronaldo.

They were a bit lucky to get what they got until they reached us and they hit form but actually Liverpool battered them in the final , I say if they keep the same team as now they wont win anything.

Re: AC Milan 2007/08 Thread.
I hope this is not true, Baptista scares me for some reason... I still think he is the kind of player who has more potential than he has shown so far...

AC Milan Make Baptista Bid
AC Milan have made an opening offer of €17m to Real Madrid for Copa América star Julio Baptista, but the Spanish outfit are set to demand more. The Rossoneri's vice president, Adriano Galliani, has stated that the club will sign a mystery player this summer and AS are convinced that it is Baptista that they have in their sights.
Madrid are keen to hold on to the 25-year-old, but would be willing to talk if Milan raised their bid to €20m, according to the report. Galliani revealed that as well as chasing Alexandre Pato, a Mister X would also arrive who "is not Italian, and is non-EU", but could obtain a European passport in August.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has asked Silvio Berlusconi for a multi-purpose player who can work up front and as an attacking midfielder, the Italian media has said. Baptista fits that profile perfectly, but Milan will have to increase their offer as the Spanish club's sporting director, Predrag Mijatovic, believes that the player is worth at least €20m.
After spending an unsuccessful year in the Premiership with Arsenal, Baptista saw his stock rise in the Copa América as he capped some good displays with an incredible opening goal in the final against Argentina. Madrid coach, Bernd Schuster, has said that he would include the former Sevilla forward in his squad and is expecting his arrival at pre-season training in Austria this week.
Baptista has been given some extra time off after his exhertions in Venezuela and is due to return to Madrid on Friday, before jetting out join his team-mates over the weekend. AS believe that the player would view a move to the San Siro favourably, but he has already stated that his intention is to earn a place in the Madrid side next term.
Early speculation suggested that Barça outcast Thiago Motta was the player in question after Milan failed in their quest to prise Emerson away from the Bernabéu. The Brazilian born midfielder does have Italian dual nationality already, meaning that he does not fit the bill for Galliani's proposed target.

Milan is no. 1 in the UEFA ratings. It's clear that we don't need anyone as we are allready the best team in the world. Except Ba who is a great players and will fit right in with our team. - Galliani's statemant and the end of the transfer period.
