    Gomez - 6
    Assou-Ekotto - 6

    Woody - 6

Woodcock is a 7 at least and a high one at that. Lennon too. I'd swap pretty much all of Sppppppppppuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs' fringe players for ours, except for the left side. Don't think much of the Arsenal bench either.

I did think about giving Woody higher but then I couldn't be arsed so I didn't.

The important issue is that Spurs DO have some very good players though (I count 7 as the cusp for good players)

Man Utd's starting line up confuses me - whats their best choice midfield?

But thta was definitely completely worth my time. To conclude, the big 4 have a better starting XI than those not in the big 4. Shock horror.

    Three actually. Razz

Gomes is the better shot stopper, but i havent been wholly convinced by his reliability so marked him down slightly. His potential is far higher than Almunia's. If he can continue playing as he has been recently then hes definitely the better keeper.

At the moment we don't have any 9/10 players, just a healthy bunch of 7-8's. King is the only one who comes close. Somebody will have to make the leap for us like Keane & Carrick did for us in 2005-06 to seriously challenge.

TS is systematically downplaying his chances so he cannot be accused of hyping up his players, thiss may be a realistic approach but it would also deprive him of his favourite hobby of hyping up Arsenal hype.

Anyway - Woodgate is at least the equal to Vermaelon and thats not even mentioning King.
Palacios would get into Arsenal or Man Utds Midfield.
Modric would slot into our midfield no problem, would be an improvement on Benayoun or Valencia.

There are definite weak points to all of the top 4 this year.
    But yeah, it is unlikely.

    Razz

There's no need to hype up Arsenal hype - not when Wilshere's going to the World Cup off the back of a pre-season performance against Rangers.

King's only an 8 because of his injury record.

I rated 55 players off the top of my head. I'm not surprised there's some discrepancies. By all means, make your own and i'll wait for people to shoot you down when yolu give Kuyt a 10.
6 for Gomes does seem harsh in hindsight though - i gave the same to Given. I think i got more lenient as i went on.

Can't agree with all the rating but if you swap Arsenal and Liverpool's placings around I think that could be an accurate prediction.
