Milan being heavily linked with Belgian player Axel Witsel, most famous for a rather unfortunate tackle.

These are the players associated with Milan in the rumours:

Bale, Ganso, Witsel, Fabregas, VDV, Hamsik, and Pastore.

I really think our top target is one of Bale and Fabregas. How achievable is that? I don't know. We shall see.

Ganso is the man we should be after in my opinion.

Bale can't play in a diamond and doesn't solve our lack of creativity issues; Fabregas, while obviously great, costs about 50-60 mil. Even if we were to spend that much (which I doubt) it wouldn't be wise blowing it all on one player.

Ganso for about 25-30 mil sounds about right; he would improve our team signifiantly, add some much needed midfield creativity and he will only get better.

Midget is very unlikely to leave Inter, mate... I would say like 10% chance of him leaving Inter.

Players like Maicon, Motta, Cordoba, Suazo, etc are far more likely to leave...

Nah, it won't make sense for Inter, so it probably won't happen. Moratti is not a selling man.

It is unlikely that Inter sell Motta, but selling Sneijder is even more unlikely.

If Inter buy someone like Montolivo, Motta becoming more expendable.

    why?
mmh well, to have better key players?
or because key players can become hindrances too?

Motta has good distribution and tactical vision but he's slow as hell without the ball and always struggles to stay fit.
With his talent and experience he naturally demands to be first choice but the truth is that in most setups he can't be mobile and hardworking enough to justify that (or creative enough to justify a setup that covers his ass).

Since he's not getting any younger but he could still be sold on double digits fee in some market (Russia?), he's just a natural candidate for replacement this summer.

Then there's the unconfirmed gossip that he had a break up with the squad and coach around the time we got battered by Milan and Shalke, but trying to sell him makes sense even without digging into this.

There's been interest from Manchester United, but Sneijder (and Eto'o for that matter) will not be leaving Inter. It's almost a guarantee. Moratti won't sell the player, and he doesn't want to leave.

Yup. There was a lot of interest from Man Utd this time last year as well. But, notwithstanding an Ibra-isque offer (Rooney + 45m?? Razz), Sneijder is not going anywhere.

Serioulsy, I'm not ready to bet on his destination but at this point it seems it is just a matter of offers.
He WILL go If a proper big offer comes, where big is anything north 40mil.
I'm not happy as Sneijder made us win a lot of games on his own, and I love watching him play, but I think it can make a lot of sense for restructuring the squad.

Meanwhile, there are new rumours about our interest for Hummels, I'm hoping.

Can't see Hummels leaving. He loves Dortmund and they'll play in the CL next season. That will give him the European experience he needs to further establish himself in the national team. At this stage of his career, it wouldn't be wise to risk moving abroad. It's not like Özil, for example, who had already played a WC with Germany and was a (more or less) guaranteed starter when he decided to move to Madrid.

He will move abroad later on though, I think he is the type of player who would.

Okay, did you hear the latest about Inter?
This may sound too crazy, but it's circulating since a couple of days and new details keep being added.

Apparently, Leonardo has been offered the director's seat at PSG by the new Qatari owners, with a luxurious contract, full powers and a big budget to work with.
It seems that Leo informed Moratti and flew to Qatar for talking, and now is in Brazil seriously tempted by the idea.

Moratti keeps denying to the press, but rumour has it that he already phoned Marcelo Bielsa to ask him if he'd like to sit on our bench if Leonardo leaves.

It would be just too good, the second time in few months that a perplexing coach leaves on his own just when it looked like he was going to stick around for too long - like the Waiter suiciding his job after the wc win.

    And Bielsa cheers

Well we'll just have to wait and see, all fingers crossed...

    Woof.

Leonardo is leaving, big break for Inter there. Now they can get a proper manager, Bielsa would be awesome if it's him.
