Ancelotti is a good tactician, knows Serie A and would win trophies for you

Jokes apart...I remember at the time of Leo signing up for Inter, Ancelotti had made a statement saying that he would never have joined the city rivals. So I doubt if that will change. I have a strong feeling that it will be Miha...Inter's next coach...or the Jedi master of the Inter universebluenine wrote:

eheheh, yeah they aren't bright.Murray wrote:Matri, Quagliarella, Pepe & Motta permanently to Juve for €37.25M, FFS Juve really are idiots.

six months of Leonardo help much with that, it can't possibly end up being worse than that =DMurray wrote:I thought you would be annoyed about Gasperini getting the job, you will certainly be leaking a lot of goals next season.

It's Gasperini.
Bluenine will curse and scream but I'm quite happy, always liked him.
Contract is worrying, it's 1 single year + option for a second.
In other places it may be a sensible option for untested coaches but with Moratti it just means "I hire you but I don't trust you and don't expect me to back you up". Even if he survives the winter healthy there will be another soap-opera about his renewal from february to june. Well, we'll watch that too.
He'll bring his assistant Bruno Caneo and the tactical analyst Luca Trucchi.
The rest of the staff is from within the club, assistant Beppe Baresi, keeper trainer Alessandro Nista and athletic coach Stefano Rapetti.
Thanks God the rumour that Gasperini would've brought in Rampulla (keeper trainer) and Ventrone (athletic coach) didn't hold true. They both are 100% pure "gobbi" souls of the Lippi-Moggi era and would've caused a harsh revolt from the fans.
Yeah, I am not happy at all... not just that his tactics don't suit the current Inter squad, his handling of stars is veery suspect. His undoing at Genoa started with Preziosi signing some stars like Veloso & Rafinha who did not suit his style. Add to that the fact that Moratti has hardly shown any confidence in his appointment, it means that our transfers will have little to do with our coach's suggestions. I am not sure he is cut out for Inter, I was more hopeful of Rafa Benitez this time last year!! I hope he proves me wrong.abundance wrote:Sheesh it felt fkin endless.

No surprises for me, goes along with the rumour that Moratti wants Guardiola next season, who has hinted heavily that he won't continue at Barça after a 4th year. But it's not known yet whether he'll take a sabbatical or coach in Italy (or England).
Edit: also, Capello will be available next summer too.

I was speaking to some of my brasilian friends about him, opinions seem to be split on the "versatile full back"... he is young, has an EU passport, can play on either wing, and from what I hear he is better than either of our fullbacks (Maicon & Nagatomo) on the defensive side of things. There seem to be some question marks on his attacking ability, and on his fitness - he seems a bit injury prone.abundance wrote:BTW, Blue, what do you think of Jonathan?
I honestly know nothing of him.
