Brazil have incredible talent going forward, but the team is getting split into 6-4 (the 4 attackers plus the fullbacks) and is not cohesive enough.

the same issues with argentina, except the team is literally split into 4-3-3. the defenders, defend, the midfield tries to do what they think is midfield work and the attackers attack.

basile apart, euoprean football is so far ahead of the south americans when it comes to tactics and overall team management.

This game has become rather boring in the last 20 mins. Brazil are huffing and puffing, but it's all individual dribbling and tricks, and not much "normal" passing football. And the less said about Ramires-Lucas, the better.

Is Ganso the best play maker in the world already?

Im a bit surprised Puro hasnt had some comments to make about his boy Nadal today too..you'd think he'd have some words of sympathy for his brother.

    HT 0-0.

Well, a forgettable first half. Not even Puro's hype can hide this so far. I was hoping to see swashbuckling South American football. Instead it's been a snorefest.

Ganso et al need to wake the fuck up.

The haircuts would worry me if I were Brazilian. Seems these guys think they are superstars already

very well observed. it's the kind of comparison you're often afraid to make because of the weight of one name - in this case, Zidane -, but it's true: their styles are similar.

I'm not one to make a rash judgement after watching a game for 5 minutes, but, on this evidence, 2014 could be a rather painful experience for the 'Mericans if they don't implement some sort of structure to their play.

Alves's positioning is useless. Also playing too centrally, so never stretching the play like he does for Barca.
