Taylor got European experience this season as well - seem to remember him scoring a couple of goals in fact.

You also forget that next season Newcastle will have allardyce and a load of dosh from this Ashley bloke - its very possible that Newcastle will sign a top class Cb (better than Dawson Razz

Steven taylor is not good enough. And he should have been sent off in the 2nd leg against AZ too.
Biggest game of his young carreer and he goes blatantly elbowing Koevermans in the 12th minute. Absolute moron. Nearly killed off his team right there. Hasn't got the balls and can't handle pressure.

But then the penalty given against him in the first leg wasn't one, so swings and roundabouts.

It's also unfair to judge a 21 year old on one game, how about judging him on his performances against Chelsea this season? Rolling Eyes

And the pressure comment is bullshit, he's handled the pressure of having to lead a defence including two 18 year old youth team players(Edgar and Huntington) and the inept Ramage.
