So in 2009/10 under Pellegrini he only started 14 league games and made 13 appearances as a sub and scored a total of 8 goals.
Then in 2010/11 in Jose's first year he started 20 league games and was a substitute on 13 occasions and he scored 15 goals.
Maybe there is something to the theory. What does everyone think?
He thinks he's got all kinds of skills, drops deep to get involved in the buildup etc, but that leaves no-one up front to actually stick the ball in the net. If you have a job to do for the team then do that job, don't do what you like to do because that isn't necessarily what is best for the team. There should be internal competition for places as that makes players work harder, if as a result they sulk etc then get rid of them as they are mentally weak, spoilt c**ts. Strikers don't necessarily have to score as long as they do the job the manager tells them to do and the team wins.
Benzema reminds me a bit of silky version of rooney. Rooney gets dropped by Ferguson because he doesn't follow instructions I reckon, so he wants to leave, he behaves the same way for England he doesn't get dropped but England suffer for it. Ferguson was right, hodgson is wrong.
