It's like saying Bolton are way ahead of Arsenal because the Trotters match up very well against them.

I still don't think there's much between the sides - all this shows is that Arsenal match up very well against Liverpool. The way Liverpool play - with a high-line and an alert goalkeeper who bail out defenders who aren't the quickest - is actually suicide against one of the most athletic and fastest football teams in history... 3 of the goals conceded in the last 2 meetings have been as a result of simple punt & chase tactics.

That comment was aimed at TS and his Bolton V arsenal comparison

Still to close to call whilst we are competing on three fronts all you have is the champions league left.

Terry could be out of the League Cup final.
Cesc- Guest
Well that would be good.Batman wrote:Terry could be out of the League Cup final.
Mourinho will pick a near enough full strength side. Wenger has already ruled out the likes of Lehmann, Gallas and Hnery playing.
Dibay and Walcott wil play for us.

That definitely helps us just need to break Didier's legs in the first few minutes and we're sorted.

I would rather get to the next round of the champions league than win the Carling cup and go out in the CL, just me though.

What if you end up losing in the quarters anyway? That would be a waste of time, wouldn't it.

3-1 Chelsea. Didier netting twice in the first half, then walcott scoring, arsenal fans think they have a chance, then lampard deflects one in off the underside of the stadiumEmmanuele Elboue wrote:We'll see. no terry. should be high scoring

Shevchenko x2
Drogba
Lampard (takes a deflection off 3 players before hitting the roof - closed due to the appalling, but predictable Welsh weather - comes down hits Wenger on the head - who's been sent to the stands for trying it on with Obi Mikel - hits the bar, comes down hits Lehmann in the privates and rolls in at 0.1 mph).
Lampard claims it and the dubious goals panel award it to him.

Lehmann plays to his own rules, and won't let some silly referee or FA representative tell him he can't play.
He'll show some of that Mannschaft (sp?) power and go all popeye like, before he is floored by Shaun Wright-Phillips.

and in an interview he did when he was playing for city instead of saying we "fought back" he said we "fighted back" and he did this twice.

Wouldn't surprise me if he was just illiterate and found the dullest things possible hysterical. He is Ian Wright's step-son after all.
