I think both Lampard and Gerrard look more comfortable in this new England set up (if they keep it).

Gerrard on the right, where he can 'bomb' much easier, with Lamps having all the freedom of the centre with Hargreaves tucked up behind him.

Lennon is a great winger, but like SWP, at this moment in time, imo, he'll be a better impact player for England than starter

We all have our opinions on football, non more valid than anyone else simply because that's all they are...opinions.

Lampard has his qualities, and can be effective in certain sitautions. He is limited however IMO. That doesn't mean he's shit to me, just that he isn't as good as some have made him out to be.

I wouldn't switch an in-his-prime Rui Costa for a Frank Lampard for any cash out there. To me, they are simply not on the same level.

Personally I am not Lampard's greatest fan. I thought he should have been taken off in the WC by that idiot SGE because he simply wasn't doing anything other than a bit of glory hunting with no glory on the end of it. I thought he was poor today and getting the goal through the penalty masked an otherwise disappointing performance. That said yes he did commit a poor tackle once, not a vindictive tackle but one in which the player injured his ankle. However certain supporters act as if he is the only player to have committed a bad tackle and seem to still have it in for him. Get over it. Robben's foot was broken when a Blackburn player stamped on it and I can't now remember who did it and nor do I want to. Move on

nothing really wrong with what he is saying but he is playing so badly that it really is hard to accept him coming out and commenting after every game when he is contributing nothing to the cause... it would even be beneficial to lampard himself to get dropped for a while... i think inside his own head he thinks he is much much better than he really is... he needs to be brought back down to earth with a very big bang
