Yes, he's a great player sure, but he might not adapt whereas Benayoun is a proven Premiership player

Its hard to tell how these players will do in the Prem but IMO

Alves > Finnan or Pennant

Malouda > Kewell or Babel

McCarthy > Torres - in terms of finishing


Malouda would have gone to Liverpool if they had shown more interest, the players has said this himself, but instead Liverpools focus was on signing Torres.

I think Alves will cost around £14m or less this summer if he leaves Sevilla.

McCarthy around £7m?

So in total, Alves, Malouda and McCarthy for around £34m.
