To be honest, Mascherano > Hargreaves. Gerrard for the Bench. Despite the abuse Reina is probably a better goalkeeper then VDS (now VDS is old).

Yeah, but now Scholes is a lot happier holding, i can imagine him spraying the balls around, whilst Gerrard roams infront of him closing opposition down and bombing in around the box, i think it would be fabulous to watch the two play together again for England, sadly that will never happen.

Yes he would Luis, he is the finest midfielder in the premiership bar none, he has better vision than Alonso, Alonso may be more accurate with his passes at times, but Scholes is incredibly penetrative, when i watch a midfielder (apart from his poor tackling) he has everything.
