Where would Man Utd be without him? Put it this way, Arsenal would top of the Premier League if Cristiano wasn't at Man Utd.

Definitely. He might be selfish and some don't particularly enjoy his style of play, but the sheer volume of goals he scores and his consistency is unrivalled, plus he has been producing the goods in every competition so far. There are players I enjoy watching a lot more than Ronaldo, but no one is as effective as him at the moment.

He's so good that if not for him, this really would be Liverpool's year

Anyway, yes, he's prolific right now and would win all awards (even ahead of Ibrahimovic), but what happens in January doesn't really matter much. Ronaldo has racked up the goals and playing time against "easy" teams. Now with Man. Utd.'s tough fixtures coming up he can't really be rested either, so let's see if he can maintain this form and show it in big games or disappear again like last year.

He will be 23 when the "tough fixtures" come, I'm confident he's a year older now

He's a player you'd pay big money to go and see play, some say Torres is brilliant (and he can be) or Kaka is brilliant but with Ronaldo you're guaranteed brilliance every single time, he does everything you could ask for, skill, great on the ball, trickery, scores goals from all angles, works hard, creates chances. I'm very jealous that Liverpool don't have a player like this as I'm sure every club in the world are

January doesn't matter why not?

all 27 goals were not in january. I tell you that big game thing gets taken into completly new levels each day. He played 4 games. ok 2 v roma. 2 v milan. he scored 3 goals, and played very well for 2 and a half of those games. But ok we'll see soon enough in these other games.
