Ronaldo is a great player in a team where the attack have been playing with each other now for a number of years.
Rooney and Ronaldo have virtually grown up together playing for Man United, and you can tell. How many one-two goals have those two scored or created for each other? It would be interesting to know.
Throw in Tevez, who is a genuine class act and United have 3 players, along with Giggs, who can play virtually anywhere up front - on the left, right or centre.
Its that fluidity which allows Ronaldo to come inside and score so many.
If he were at a team with less genuine ability upfront, he'd be told to stick on the right and creat goals, because there would be no one else in the team who could float out to the right when he takes those central positions.
Ronaldo would be stupid to move anywhere right now in my opinion. United's formation suits him perfectly at the moment, and so do the players he is with.
Under such conditions- yues, best in the World at the moment.
And we can all ignore Puro's 1,000th attempt to disregard the EPL - Milan took United apart last season, but United did the same to Roma before that, so how that one game is supposed to represent which league is better is of course utter gonads.
Ronaldo is also maturing each year, and so are United's young attack, so it seems fair to say he will only get better so no point harping on about the odd poor performance in the past.
Still hate his free kicks though - its not a suprise he scores the odd one seeing as he takes them all, and almost always shoots no matter where on the pitch it is. Plus he takes all the pens, so the stats should be tempered slightly
